uGet does not download files in full speed.

Postby bhudipta » Sun Apr 26, 2015 9:39 pm

Hello, I have installed uGet a few hours ago. Sadly, I have found that uGet can not download files on full speed.

If I download files via firefox I get 300+KiBps Speed, but when I download files via uGet I get 20-35 KiBps speed.

Can you guys please help ??

My OS is ubuntu. I have started to use linux recently.

It depends where you are downloading from. uGet has absolutely no limitations but some servers do. Some servers detect download managers and purposefully limit them because they can so there is nothing I can tell you to fix it without more information of what you are trying to download.
