Request: Beta version for Debian

Are you having a problem with a Development release of uGet? If so, please let us know here. - Note*: Development releases are unstable beta releases and are available for those who like to use bleeding edge software but we recommend that you use the latest Stable release.

Hi
I can see that you made beta version in .deb package for Ubuntu but not for Debian
Please make a .deb for Debian too, for easy installation
Thanks

We made a beta version for Ubuntu only because Launchpad builds the deb files for us and also does a PPA with the same amount of effort.

Debian does not do that and we would have build it ourselves along with all other distros we are trying to manage. We are a two person team so we can only do so much. If someone were to create a deb for us for Debian then we would be happy to consider it but we simply do not have the time especially since neither of us use Debian or anything based on Debian.

If you are using the Wheezy version though then you are already massively out of date. Debian Wheezy version is 1.8.2 where as Debian Jessie has 1.10.4 so please update to that version. https://packages.debian.org/jessie/uget
