[SOLVED] Text file selection

Postby mpolak » Sat Mar 18, 2017 7:56 am

Hi!

I need a download manager for a weekly download of about 50 files, so I'm trying uGet, but I can't add a text file list using the File - Batch Download menu. I can navigate to any directory, but no text file is ever shown to be selected. It's working with HTML files, but I prefer text files.

Is it possible to start a batch download with a text file via command line parameters? I didn't find it in the manpage. If it's not possible, that would be a feature request.

Best regards!

I can select text file. You can try to update your GTK+ version.

# uget-gtk --help
-i, --input-file=FILE add URLs in FILE.

I'm using the standalone Windows binary, so I guess I can't update the GTK+ version. But the command line parameter --input-file=FILE works with text files, and it's just what I was looking for. So the matter is settled for me.
